Collectively, November and December are undeniably the biggest spending season of each year. That’s why Buy Michigan Now, a campaign designed to promote and support Michigan businesses, is urging residents to think carefully about how and where they do their holiday shopping. To make buying local easier, the initiative has released its annual Holiday Gift Guide. “If we all band together and make a concerted effort to shop locally, we can really make a noticeable impact on our economy,” said Buy Michigan Now founder, Lisa Diggs. “Our annual gift guide is a valuable tool to provide fun ideas as well as access to small businesses around the state. This sixteenth edition of the guide is divided into multiple categories, totally more than 150 different suggestions.
