The Share Some ROC Love community initiative that celebrates the spirit of Rochester returns for its fourth year on Nov. 24.
The event encourages residents to explore their communities, discover local treasures and support Rochester’s small businesses.
This year’s initiative emphasizes the importance of supporting small businesses, fostering community bonds and nurturing a strong local economy.
“Our goal is to help the community celebrate the essence of Rochester – its people, its businesses and its unique culture,” said Amy Button, Share Some ROC Love founder. “By encouraging residents to explore their neighborhoods and supporting our locally owned small businesses, we’re not just fostering economic growth here in our own backyard, but also strengthening the bonds that make our city exceptional.”
Some of the local businesses participating include Vault Rochester, LUMOS Infrared Spa, several local artists, Crazy Dog T-shirts and local author Robin Flanigan with her book 100 Things to Do in Rochester Before You Die.
