The busy holiday season awaits, but you’ll want to make time for baking traditional breads and sweet treats for the whole family. The Bread Monk has collected all his favorite holiday recipes in Baking Your Way Through the Holidays: Breads, Cakes, & Treats for All Your Celebrations. You’ll find his Best Ever Crescent Rolls to mop up gravy at Thanksgiving, a wide array of flavorful coffeecakes for holiday breakfast and brunches, and traditional breads like Challah, Hoska, and Panettone. Fr. Dominic also shares his grandmother’s Sour Cream Cinnamon Roll recipe and his mother’s almond-flavored Cut-Out Sugar Cookies, along with other family favorites like Sausage Roll-Ups and Orange Biscuit Twists with a chocolate drizzle. Round out the year with two different versions of King Cake, and you’ll have a whole season’s worth of baked delights and sweet memories. Each recipe comes with Fr. Dom’s customary clear instructions, serving suggestions, and heartwarming stories to inspire your holiday baking. With so many tempting treats, you’ll be baking your way from November to January, and for years to come.
