Author Roxie Yonkey was born with a pen in her hand and a passion for Kansas travel. Her newest book, Secret Kansas: A Guide to the Weird, Wonderful, and Obscure focuses on the hidden stories of the sunflower state.

Yonkey said she’s wanted to be an author ever since she can remember but she’s had some hesitation.
