Eric W. Miller

About
Born in Houston, Eric Miller got to Amarillo as soon as possible. For 21 years, he promoted his adopted hometown around the world for the Amarillo Convention & Visitor Council. He remains passionate about Amarillo and is on the board for Partners in Palo Duro Canyon Foundation and a volunteer committee member for the Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum. Miller is a member of the Society of American Travel Writers and 100 Things to Do in Amarillo Before You Die is his first book. He regularly writes for Authentic Texas and Panhandle Magazine. He loves to talk about Amarillo but don’t call him Tuesday nights—that’s when he meets the guys to sing barbershop.
