About
A longtime resident of the Central Savannah River Area, Tom Mack holds the rank of Distinguished Professor Emeritus at the University of South Carolina Aiken. His other regional titles include Circling the Savannah, Hidden History of Augusta, and Hidden History of Aiken County. For over three decades, Dr. Mack has written an “Arts and Humanities” column in the Aiken Standard; that weekly column was honored by the Greater Augusta Arts Council with its media award.
